How we use it

We use your information to run the app, sign you in, store your workout history, and generate workout prescriptions based on your data and coach instructions.

Third parties and processors

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles authentication.
• Google Gemini API — processes your workout data and coach instructions to generate workout prescriptions.
• Email provider — delivers magic-link sign-in emails.
• Payment provider — will process payments if and when paid subscriptions launch.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the processors above, and only as needed to operate the Service.

Cookies and sessions

We use a cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for authentication and is not used for advertising.

Product analytics

We use first-party product analytics to understand how our app is used and to improve it.

On our website we collect anonymous, aggregate usage events (such as page and feature interactions) without using cookies or any browser storage, so no individual is identified from this data. For signed-in activity, we record product events tied to your account ID to measure features like workout generation and logging.

This analytics data is processed on our behalf by PostHog, a US-based analytics provider acting as our data processor, and is not used for third-party advertising and does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at support@aiworkoutbuddy.app.
